APOM x ISKL: Celebrating 60 Years of ISKL
A collaboration between A Piece of Malaysia (APOM) × The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL)
Created a series of illustrations for ISKL merchandise in celebration of the school's 60th anniversary in Malaysia, taking place in April 2025.
The design explores ISKL’s corporate colours and features their mascot, the Panther, while weaving in elements of Malaysian culture, identity, and local slang. The concept highlights the spirit of growth, inspiration, and the idea that culture and traditions will always be a part of Panthers, no matter how far they go.
This merchandise is not only a celebration of ISKL’s 60-year journey, but also serves as a tool to express who ISKL is- a community full of positivity and diversity while sparking memories and celebrating shared experiences.
Illustrations in the collection include:
• Budak ISKL (ISKL Kid) – A tribute to the ISKL experience through the eyes of an ISKL student, highlighting values such as friendship, collaboration, school spirit, and lasting memories.
• I Suka Kuala Lumpur (I Love Kuala Lumpur) – Featuring iconic Kuala Lumpur elements like the Twin Towers, KL Tower, and the Bunga Raya (Malaysia's national flower), this design also reflects ISKL’s state-of-the-art campus in the heart of the city.
• Goreng Strong Since 1965 – A witty Malaysian twist on “Going Strong Since 1965,” symbolizing ISKL’s legacy with its beloved Panther mascot.
• With ISKL Semua Can (Everything Is Possible With ISKL) – Representing ISKL’s commitment to providing a world of opportunities for students to explore their passions.
